In a futuristic dystopia, Alex, a vicious young hoodlum, sleeps all day and spends his nights roaming the city with a gang of friends he calls his “droogs”. Feeding their passion for ultra-violence, the gang ruthlessly assault innocent people in the streets and in their homes.

When he is finally captured by the police, Alex undergoes rehabilitation in the form of merciless rounds of aversion therapy which are every bit as brutal and horrifying as his offenses. But will his brainwashing turn Alex into a productive member of society?
