This year’s line-up features preview screenings of upcoming blockbusters from the likes of Brad Bird (The Iron Giant, Ratatouille); the best new films from the British and US independent filmmaking scenes, including directors like Martin McDonagh (The Banshees of Inisherin), Jesse Eisenberg (A Real Pain) and Boots Riley (Sorry to Bother You); plus hotly anticipated world cinema selections such as La bola negra, Possible Love and Minotaur.
For the first time ever, an event in the LFF Screen Talks programme will be held outside of London. HOME is excited to welcome British filmmaking legend Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, 28 Days Later, Slumdog Millionaire) back to Manchester for an exclusive in conversation event exploring his creative processes, influences and career in depth. Danny Boyle’s latest film, Ink, also screens at HOME as part of LFF 2026.
