Wang Wei, a mysterious and mild-mannered Chinese national, lives a seemingly peaceful life in a quiet corner of Southeast Asia. But when his daughter, visiting for the summer holidays, is kidnapped by a criminal network and he receives no help from the corrupt local police, Wei sets out on a rampage to find her himself.

His only ally is Navin – a journalist investigating the same gang after the disappearance of his wife. Fuelled by a furious vengeance, the unlikely duo relentlessly fights against the kidnappers as the stakes of their vigilante mission rise higher and higher. 

Directed by veteran action choreographer Kenji Tanigaki, and featuring a Pan-Asian cast of cinema’s best martial artists and stunt performers – including alumni of Gareth Evans’ legendary The Raid – The Furious is one of the most brilliant and bruising action movies in recent years.
