6 - 7pm: This Is How I Got Arrested... after smuggling drugs across the border but never actually getting caught with any drugs
This Is How I Got Arrested... is a tightly structured, fourth wall breaking, hilarious, new, one-woman dark comedy show that shines an undeniable light on the insides of a working-class life.
Meet Sophie, a young, working-class girl, who takes the phrase 'girls just wanna have fun' literally too far!
What begins as a fast-paced account of her upbringing, quickly spirals into a drug fuelled escapade. All told under the pressure of a ticking timer, lies will unravel, truth will be revealed and mischief will mount into madness.
Whose side will you be on?
‘A smart, instantly engaging, sharply delivered and thoroughly entertaining performance that keeps the audience hooked from start to finish.
Sussex News: A ★★★★★ show worth getting banged up for.’
7:30 - 8:30pm: GOSS
GOSS - It's your gossip. LIVE.
Award-winning dancer and comedian Sam Burkett is here for the freshest gossip – and they want it LIVE. Watch them spin your stories into a hilarious blend of improv comedy and experimental dance. Expect the unexpected, and come ready to spill. GOSS is an improvised dance-comedy solo show where Sam gossips with the audience live. Each performance is entirely unique, shaped by spontaneous conversations, physicality and the atmosphere in the room. Think crowd work special meets performance art. It's about creating a space of genuine listening and connection... that is also incredibly stupid.
