Growing Together Levenshulme is a community project based in Manchester, supporting refugees and people seeking asylum through gardening, food, and shared outdoor spaces. We create a welcoming environment where people can connect, build confidence, and feel a sense of belonging. Our work centres around therapeutic horticulture, bringing people together to grow fresh food, learn new skills, and spend time in nature. We run regular gardening sessions, a community kitchen, and creative activities that are open to all, regardless of experience or background. We are a diverse and inclusive community, with volunteers and participants from many cultures and languages.
