You Made a Short Film... Now What?

How to maximize the impact of your short film

Have you made a short film and now are unsure what to do next?

Led by HOME Filmmaker in Residence, Dan Thorburn, this workshop will help you understand the Short Film Festival circuits. Dan will share his expansive knowledge and experience to help you choose the right festival, understand what they're looking for when selecting successful films and guide you through how to put in a strong proposal.

Dan will also go through the practical elements such as the statistics of applications vs selection and how to make the most out of festival attendance. You will leave the workshop feeling confident about using your short film as a calling card to showcase your skills to potential funders/partners/producers/agents, leveraging press, reviews and awards.
