See two exciting new shows before they play at Edinburgh Fringe
We have offered artists the opportunity to test a small-scale show that they're developing for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe - in front of a live audience. Now you have the opportunity to support their journey and experience exciting new theatre at HOME before the festival begins.
6 - 7pm: Paywall
This is a 60 minute one-woman play.
Lizzy is 27, broke, and boxing up her life in a crumbling Dublin bedsit—on her way back to the last place she swore she’d never return: home with Daddy Dearest.
Fuelled by the legend of radical journalist Margo Murphy, Lizzy has always had one ambition—to drag bullies into the spotlight and tear them apart in print. It’s a noble dream…
If Lizzy wants a byline—and a legacy—she’ll have to decide just how far she’s willing to go.
7:30 - 8:30pm: GOSS
GOSS - It's your gossip. LIVE.
Award-winning dancer and comedian Sam Burkett is here for the freshest gossip – and they want it LIVE. Watch them spin your stories into a hilarious blend of improv comedy and experimental dance. Expect the unexpected, and come ready to spill. GOSS is an improvised dance-comedy solo show where Sam gossips with the audience live. Each performance is entirely unique, shaped by spontaneous conversations, physicality and the atmosphere in the room. Think crowd work special meets performance art. It's about creating a space of genuine listening and connection... that is also incredibly stupid.
