What your gift does
By donating to HOME you're money can go a long way in supporting local people's access to workshops and projects that allow them develop new skills and participate in the arts. Want to find out exactly what impact your donation is going to have?

This final push pays to move the groups into the ownership of the people who have come to run them. Every pound of this appeal goes to Home from HOME, but if we pass £10,000 before Christmas, anything further stays in our wider campaigns programme, funding the same kind of work with Manchester communities.

Can you help us raise £10,000 by Christmas?
Home from HOME is part of HOME’s Creative Engagement programme, which covers the work we do with community groups and young people across Manchester all year round. Based out of Moss Side, Hulme and Gorton, Home from HOME co-creates work with community members, making visual art, film and theatre with professional artists.
Home from HOME was set up to do three things:
- Give people a lasting relationship with HOME, not a one-off visit
- Support their health and wellbeing
- Put creativity into three neighbourhoods where almost none of it was being funded
In the last year alone it ran 159 workshops, 18 trips to the theatre and 13 community meals, and reached 1,404 people.
The final year of the programme will cost £117,742 to deliver. Thanks to brilliant funders including the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, Garfield Weston Foundation and Leri Charitable Trust, and a group of passionate and committed individual donors, we are only £14,482 away. We are looking to raise £10,000 towards the total – and you’re invited to join us!
