Ripples of Hope Festival

The Livestream for the final day of Ripples of Hope is available to watch below

How do we create a better world?

That’s the question at the heart of The Ripples of Hope Festival – a new Festival that celebrates the power of people to make human rights a reality.

Over the past 18 months, we’ve seen people around the world stand up for their human rights, despite a global pandemic. Whether you’ve spoken up for…

Black Lives Matter / Climate Change / Kill The Bill / Homelessness / Afghanistan / Mental Health / #MeToo / Equal Pay / Domestic Violence / Living Wage / Food Banks / Universal Credit…

The Ripples of Hope Festival invites you to three days of workshops, performances and debates.

You’ll hear powerful voices from every walk of life. Hear from speakers including life-long LGBTQ+ Activist Peter Tatchell; world-famous human rights activist, Kerry Kennedy; Women’s Equality Party Leader, Mandu Reid; Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Kailash Satyarthi; singer-songwriter, Billy Bragg; philanthropist and social activist, Gina Miller; Poet Laureate, Simon Armitage + MORE!

Choose the conversations that matter to you and your community.

DAY 1 – Dignity & Justice / Activism & Participation

No Justice, No Peace. How do we protect our right to protest and challenge institutional bias?

DAY 2 – Equity & Equality / Arts & Culture

Whose story gets told? How do we level the playing field?

DAY 3 – Environment & The Planet

There is no planet B! How can we protect our planet and the communities who will suffer the effects of climate change first?

Expect a weekend full of workshops, talks, and music performances. By exploring the challenges of today, we can all send forth a ripple of hope across our own communities.
