Filmed Up, the last online edition?

Filmed Up is our regular North West short film night, which is on every three months in our cinemas.

Until we can watch films together on a big screen, you can get your fix of short films from the region in small regular doses by signing up to our Filmed Up mailing list.

It is free to sign up and there is the option to give a little bit of money towards Filmed Up should you wish to. The films will also be published here every week but by signing up you’ll receive them straight to you inbox.

We are keen to show the range of filmmaking in the region –  from accomplished filmmakers who received funding to people starting up or making films on no money at all . So you will get a mix of moods, lengths, genre and budgets too!  Hopefully there will be something for everybody and you may discover films you may not have given a chance to otherwise!

The films are selected from open submissions by a panel of audience members who love short films and wanted to get more involved in our programme. This panel usually programmes a minimum of 6 Filmed Up screening.

Filmed Up is open to film under 20 minutes, from any genre, whose director, writer or producer currently lives in the Northwest. If you would like to submit a film for the next Filmed Up (which will hopefully be in our cinemas!), head up to the Filmed Up submission page.
